Where to stay (the fallsview question)
The fallsview hotel makes the trip. From CAD 280 in summer, CAD 180 in winter. The Marriott Fallsview, Hilton Fallsview and Embassy Suites are the three reliable choices. Book 90 days ahead for July and August.
What to skip if you have a day and a half
Drop the Skylon Tower (you already saw the view from your hotel). Drop one winery. Cut the lunch in Niagara-on-the-Lake to a quick coffee and ice cream stop on Queen Street.
