What Cave of the Winds is
Despite the name, there is no cave any more, the original cave behind the Bridal Veil Falls collapsed in 1954. Today Cave of the Winds is a wooden boardwalk built fresh every spring at the base of the Niagara Gorge. The boardwalk takes you to within 6 metres of the cascading Bridal Veil Falls, on the Hurricane Deck, where the water hits you with hurricane force.
